Undergraduate Teaching Assistants (UTAs)

The Physics and Astronomy's UTA Peer Tutor program provides assistance to undergraduate students taking introductory level physics courses as well as the faculty teaching these courses, specifically in PHYS 0110, 0111, 0174, 0175, and 0475.

Teaching Assistants (TAs)

TAs are available for tutoring assistance for a wider variety of issues that are not restricted to introductory courses. These are Physics & Astronomy Graduate Students available through the Physics and Astronomy Discord, Zoom, and/or Email.

Private Tutors

The department keeps a list of graduate students available as Private Tutors that updates each semester. Please email the Undergraduate Coordinator, Mary Weiher, at for a copy or to be added to this list. Copies are also available in 100 Allen Hall.
