TA Resource Room - 312 Thaw

Fall Term 2022

The Resource Room is where Graduate Teaching Assistants are able to help students in introductory physics and astronomy classes. The purpose of this is to assist students in such a way that they can work independently, each being giving fair attention and not simply given the answers. Please note the Resource Room will remain open for limited hours during midterms and final week.

Hours begin Tuesday, September 6 for the Fall 2022 semester.

Meetings are remote or in-person as labeled below. Remote hours are held via the Physics and Astronomy Discord. In-person hours are in 312 Thaw Hall. No apppointments are required. Eligible classes will distribute the invitation link during the first few weeks of class. If you need the invitation after this period, or if you have any questions, please email the Undergraduate Coordinator, Mary Weiher, at paugrad@pitt.edu.

New TAs, please see your email for instructions on signing up for Resource Room Hours.
