TA Resource Room - 312 Thaw

Fall Term 2021

The Resource Room is where Teaching Assistants are able to give assistance to students in introductory physics and astronomy classes. The purpose of this is to assist students in such a way that they can work independently, each being giving fair attention and not simply given the answers. Please note the Resource Room will remain open for limited hours during midterms and final week.

Hours begin Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

Meetings are remote or in-person as labeled below. Remote hours are held via the Physics and Astronomy Discord (& occassional Zoom appointments).  Discord access will be emailed to students enrolled in physics courses during the first few weeks of the semester. In-person hours are in Thaw 312. For additional information or access, please contact paugrad@pitt.edu.

Guidelines for TAs working at the Resource Room can be found here.
