Student Life

The department creates a tight-knit community of academics who work together to understand the universe.

Extracurricular activities and resources include intra-mural soccer, SPS game nights, group study hours, and a Physics and Astronomy Majors Center available to all majors through proxy-card access.

Resources for Current Students

There are resources available to all undergraduates. A partnership with the Bevier Physics and Engineering Library provides one-on-one reference assistance for those who struggle with research projects.

There are scheduled Homework Help days and Peer Tutors for individual classes.

Class Tutoring & Resources

Teaching Assistants in the Resource Room give assistance to students in physics and astronomy classes, open 9:00AM to 5:00PM Monday-Friday during Fall and Spring semesters.
