Postdoctoral Research Associate

The University of Pittsburgh's experimental high energy physics group is now soliciting applications for the position of postdoctoral research associate on the ATLAS experiment at CERN.  The successful candidate will have or completed a Ph.D in experimental particle physics and will be expected to maintain a significant or full-time presence at CERN.  Duties include the participation in Liquid Argon operations, with particular responsibility for the University of Pittsburgh's trigger electronics.  The Pitt ATLAS group has a leading role in precision measurements of top quark properties and contributes to the offline software and the Liquid Argon Calorimeter.
