Postdoctoral Research Position in Neutrino Physics

The HEP group at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for two postdoctoral research positions in neutrino physics. The group's activities include long baseline experiments, Nova, T2K, and DUNE as well as activities on short baseline experiments Icarus and Microboone. The group has responsibilities on Nova test beam, T2K ND280 upgrade, and DUNE (calibration and Near Detector consortia). In addition to working on one of these projects, the successful applicant will also contribute significantly to ongoing analysis efforts.

A PhD in experimental particle physics is required. To ensure full consideration, complete applications should be received by May 1, 2019. However, applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. Applicants can apply online at: https://facultysearch.as.pitt.edu/apply/index/MjYy. Candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, and research statement and at least three letters of reference. For each reference, you will have the opportunity to input a personal email address or an email address generated through Interfolio’s Online Application Delivery.  In both cases, an email notification will be sent to the designated address with instructions about uploading the letters to our system.  The University of Pittsburgh is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and values equality of opportunity, human dignity and diversity.
