Bio: Zhujun's research focuses on developing nano-optical devices for advanced light control, with applications ranging from remote sensing to quantum technology. Before joining Pitt, she was a research scientist at Meta Reality Labs, where she is responsible for developing cutting-edge nanophotonic technology and platforms for augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) displays. She earned her undergraduate degree in physics from Tsinghua University in 2015, and obtained her PhD in Physics from Harvard University in 2020.
