Emil Sanielevici Lecture 2019

The Emil Sanielevici Lecture took place on February 20th 2019. Last years winner, Nicholas Corrado, was the speaker for this years lecture. His talk was on "A Search for WbJ in Decays of Y(5S)"

Title: A Search for WbJ in Decays of Y(5S)

Abstract: The recent discovery by the Belle Collaboration of two new hadronic states Zb and Zb' implies the possible existence of a new family of hadronic resonances including molecular states dubbed WbJ. We search for WbJ through radiative decays of Y(5S) using data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy electron-positron collider. Using Monte Carlo simulation, we study Belle’s sensitivity to the decay Υ(5S) → γWbJ and report the current status of our analysis.
