The advancement of science is reliant on the ability to make measurements. How we observe and record our surroundings allows us to push the boundary of what we can accomplish. In studying the contents of our universe, we brush up against these boundaries on a daily basis.
Aster exists at the crossroads between the fantastical and the scientific, a meld between extensive supernova redshift data and the mythology of the Ancient Greeks. With assistance from Michael Wood-Vasey, this work describes the unknown with the vocabulary of the known.
