Title : Angular coefficients and forward-backward asymmetry of Drell-Yan
process in hadron collider

Abstract :
Drell-Yan process is a clean and unique signature with high rate in hadron collider physics. It provides a valuable information to test the higher order perturbative QCD calculation and also parton distribution functions (PDFs). In the seminar, I will discuss about the angular coefficients and the forward-backward asymmetry of Drell-Yan process in hadron collider experiments. The measurements of angular coefficients (A_0 to A_4) provide comprehensive information about Z boson production mechanisms. Especially, A4 has a direct relation with the forward-backward asymmetry ( A_{FB} ) which is sensitive to the electroweak mixing angle (sin^2\theta_{W}). The measurements of angular coefficients are compared to various predictions to test QCD perturbative theory and the forward-backward asymmetry is used to extract the electroweak mixing angle.
