From the South

From the South take Route I-279 North to Exit 9 ( Hazlett Street).    At the end of the Hazlett Street ramp you will be facing East Street.  Turn left onto East Street.  You will pass three stoplights at Milroy, Mt. Pleasant and Venture Streets.  At the fourth stop light, East Street makes a left diagonal turn: make that turn and continue to follow East Street up the hill.  At the top of the hill you will be facing Perrysville Avenue (US Route 19):  turn left onto Perrysville and proceed for approximately one half mile to Riverview Avenue.  Turn right onto Riverview  which will take you into Riverview Park.  The Observatory is situated on the hill at the right of the Park entrance.
